Bill is an innovative organizational communication leader and adept storyteller with twenty-five years of experience helping organizations identify and leverage their narratives. Bill's background is diverse. A Fortune 50 communications leader, he began his career as a television journalist. Bill left television to become a hurricane chaser and the National Catastrophe Media Relations Manager for Allstate Insurance Company. He is one of the country's foremost experts in disaster communication management.

His approach to crisis communication began taking shape as a reporter covering breaking news. Bill honed his skills as a spokesperson and crisis manager in the banking and pharmaceutical industries.  

He has counseled leaders in the public and private sectors on high-level matters involving policy, practice, and crisis prevention/response.
